  They had lost our reservation and so squeezed 7 of us onto a table that really shouldn't have had any more than 5 on it. The prices were extortionate for the area. London prices. The food was just ok. I had a steak (can't remember which one) and it was overcooked despite asking for medium rare. I asked for a certain food item and they didn't want to cook it, despite the fact it was on the menu. They tried their hardest to convince me to have something else. Another member of the group wasn't familiar with something on the menu and asked what it was. They laughed in disbelief and walked off mumbling along the lines of "I can't believe I have to do this". We had to keep asking for drinks as the waiting staff did everything they could to avoid us.
  
  I wouldn't go back again if they offered the meal for free. Extremely disappointed.

  We did not expect this place to be so nice. We came in slightly underdressed after a long day of gardening to this top restaurant. we had great time. the wine was amazing and they let my husband try few wines before we ordered a bottle. the food was nice too. It is not the cheapest place but we had a great time.

  The food was delicious, the staff were great, and although it definitely felt like a classy place, it was far from contentious and the staff ensured the atmosphere felt relaxed and comfortable. The starters and main course were flawless, rich in flavour and quality. A welcome site was the wheeling in of the sweet trolley laden with a large selection of cakes and fruit cocktail. All in all, a great place to eat.
